Do I need a credit card to make a reservation in a hotel?

You can Book reservation Through Telephone and Email or fax as per Credit card details or Bank Transfer to confirm the Booking. other wise  if you are Booking Through Travel agent You must have to submit a Credit card.  

There are more than one way to make a reservation; one of them which is by fax or mail, in that cases you need to have a credit card.
