What are the skills needed for a web developer who works with the php base ?

These skills are mandatory to know for any web developer mentioned as below:

1. Good Knowledge of any of the Framework ( CodeIgniter, Symfony, CakePhp, Zend etc ).

2. Supportive Script like Jquery, Javascript, AJAX etc.

3. LAMP/WAMP Technology ( Apache, MySQL, Phpmyadmin )

4. Shoud have understanding of integration with other Web API's.

5. Knowledge of Any Template Engine will be neccessary.

                        These are the skills required for php base web development. I Hope this would help you to analyze skill requirement.

These are::

• Provide excellent code in PHP and/or Javascript using standardized development frameworks, procedures and processes

• Find practical solutions to problems assigned

• May provide technical support to clients 

• Work with other team members to specify, update, and prioritize software system requirements according to business objectives

• Test and verify that your solutions meet the assigned requirements

• Observe usability tests to qualify the success of implemented solutions

basic knowledge in php and mysqli.

know HTML, css, javascript, bootstrap, jquery.

know how to use and config xampp or any localhost server to create database and know to connect to your localhost server.

A web devveloper should have php and mySQL skills who woks on php base....

A PHP developer should know minimum following things:

- PHP

- MySQL

- Ajax, JS and jQuery

- Wordpress / Magento / Drupal / Joomla [some opensource expertise]

- Data scrapping

- YII / CodeIgniter / Zend [any framework knowledge.]

- HTML5, CSS3, LESS

- Web Designing skills [You should have skills to convert a PSD to html etc.]

In working with php you must know the

1- Basic programming techniques

2- Basic knowledge of php and java script

3- some knowledge of server

4- some knowledge of database

I think this is enough. once your start with this basic knowledge you will be expert one day.
