What are some bad habits that can sabotage the job interview?

Negative reinforcment on previous employer/employees/work environment.

Trying to outsmart the HR by questioning the validity of the qustions he/she is asking.

For interviewee:

1. Use excuse.

2. Criticize previous employer.

3. Poor personal appearance.

4. Lack of knowledge on job role.

5. Failure to give concrete examples of skills.

6. Over emphasis on money and reward.

7. Over smart.

For Interviewer:

1. Snap judgement (Tend to jump to conclusion)

2. Negative emphasis

3. Influence non verbal behaviour

4. Do not listen to the interviewee

5. Talking personal matter of interviewees

I can tell you from my experience that one of the top reasons is; Poor listening skills which results into disconnect between questions asked and answers given.
