I think you can make it like When Coding WebSite , Design is nothing to do with SEO but your code (i ' m talking about front-end) should be standardized and semantic , and off-course Yes as front-end Developer i m well aware of my SEO team requirement and try to code in standardized way , try to keep my presentation as much possible in CSS and HTML purely for Markup purpose.

A big YES! Keeping SEO in mind does not necessarily mean to build an SEO optimized website. This depends on the purpose of the website.
