For biomedical what's the difference between CT SCAN and PET-CT SCAN?

CT scan - uses X -rays for imaging and can outline bone inside the body.

PET scan - uses radioactive tracers that emit positron and this positrons are tracked by the system to generate3D image over time and  thus imaging biological process within the body.
