No, If the maintenance team did not exist, the sales team would succeed because the after sales service is more important than the sale.

No, Both are involved equally in the customer service process, unprofessional customer service from sales can lead into over expectations of the service which reducing the customer loyalty after he discovers the real situation, in other hands service department can affect the customer decision, as the loyal customer always having a good service experience
