Ghost writing is authoring a book, usually an autobiography, for another person. The process generally occuurs when a person wants to tell their story, but has neither the time nor the writing skills to write the story themself. Therefore, they transcribe their story to a ghost witer, who takes the facts and then uses their own style to form the story. A good example is the book, 'What is the What,'
