I see that an employee should atay in a company as long as he/she is satisfied and feels that he/she is contributing to the success and growth of the company. If any of these two condiditons are not satsfied, he/she should work on moving on.

i think maximum5 years, and we have to change job to have more new challenges more new friends and meet new people and have more experiences in differents company and to be to be way of routine.

No but When the company's policy is,The company's success from the success of the company members i will never leave it.

if the current company provide a ghood carrier path so why not to stay as long as i can, if not the maximum period to stay is4 years.

It depends. If you feel you can grow, develop within a company, i dont see any reason for someone to not stay for long. But if you feel there is nothing to hold you there, no development better to change ASAP. However i think3 years in a company its more than OK, after that, at least for me, that i dont like routine, i would consider a change, in case that company doesnt offer me any challenges.

It depends on how big is your company

Ex

if the company is a big  company  with many branches all over the world

and if your carreer path is  promising.   Don't leave it

if  its not seek higher salary  or position or exposure  after  you  gained enough experience   contacts and status

I think you should not stay more than five years in the same section, regardless the promotion or salary.

You need to gain more experience in the same field but in different sections, or different companies.

In this way you will have real experience in your field and not repeated.

Yes, max to max10 year to give the growth in the same organisation as per the market potency. either you change your market  area in the same org   or the product specification or the work profile in the same organisation.Change of the organisation  should be the final choice.

Reason behind this is what ever talent you have in you it can be used in the first five years only and to shape up the system etc  you need some more days.  Also for the personal growth and wide experience  One need to change the organisation .

It is much better to stay for long term basis which benifit both parties the staff and company since the staff member will gain more experience and knowledge in his or her field and the company will benefit from such experience & knowledge without having the trouble of trying new ones who need to be trained.

Today’s employees are not the employees of yesterday; those employees who were hired by a large, respectable company and stayed at a job for35 years, despite little personal satisfaction, simply because they were happy to have a job. The U.S. Department of Labor has reported that the average18-to-38- year-old stays at a job an average of four years. Two million employees quit their jobs every single month in the U.S

I don't set a time over how long should or I should not stay with an employer. The formula is simple, the relationship between an employee and an employer is a commercial relationship - once the commercial aspect is over then it’s time to part ways.
