There are many things that make good employees stay with a company:

- A clear career path and room for the employee to grow.

- An environment free from discrimination or favoritism.

- Motivation, which can be in the form of benefits and recognition for a job well done.

- A company that truly cares about its employees' well being and family life, employees will not be encouraged to put in their best or remain with the organisation if the company only sees them as work mules to make profit and not as human beings with needs.

Regardless of the salary good employees would stay if, as everyone says his/her work is being recognized. Although, recognition maybe the highest answer given, I'd have to say that work environment, ethics and values is also an importance to employees.
