What is the difference between cooling tower and chiller ?

both are heat rejection methods but:

- cooling tower rejects the heat with cooler water lets say from the sea or river and works as a condensor to cool the hot water to be reused.

- chiller is working with refrigerant in a bit more complex way with more loops in the system.
