What is the best combination of applications and programming languages to create Mobile app games?

I'm talking about games such as Clash of Clans. The less stuff I need to use and practice with the better. If possible, 1 application for graphics, 1 for client-side scripting, and 1 for server-side scripting. Thanks for the help.

NetBeans for java codes and combilation, Eclipse for Java Enterface

Android SDK & control toolkit.

 

these are my tools to make any mobile game :).

 

for drawing i use Adobe illustrator to make the outlines, and for coloring i use Adobe photoshot.

If you want you can go for Cocos2dx it has multi-platform support and easy to use. Good option if you are only thinking2d games. and yeah its totally free.

Unity3D + C# or JS whatever language you know better, this is the best, physics engine is included too

in my opinion, unity 3D and C Sharp is the best combination for developing mobile games.
