Businesses are established for value creation to stake holders. Whenever we work on a goal for the department, I should be able to link it with the organization goal, which is developed to create value to the organization.

Also, when we are working on a problem resolution, we should able to see similar patterns in other areas related, which gives a big picture of the problem.

Therefore, Big picture is identifying how specific activity / goal is related larger area / goal.
