Yes it is highly recommended to review your cv and make it according to the job you are applying for.

Highly recommend to customize your CV according to the job you are applying, in order to highlight the skills that make you suitable for that opportunity. Best of luck.

Yes that will be better for many reasons like: giving a general idea about your career history and the positions you been in (not just a limited vision). Also a clear view about all your various tasks you are capable to handle.

Even sometimes you may not catch up the same vacancy you are looking for, but since you have full C.V. then the employer may get you another job which is matching one of your roles.

a CV is a true description of you and yourf career path.

is it really ethical to adjust and making changes to your cv according to the employers requirements.?isn't this cheating and  lying?

your cv should descripe you and your career path exactly.it is the employers problems to find the right candidates.

Firstly, you have to keep it in mind that every job has got its own requirements, like qualification, skill, competency level and experience. Therefore, you should customize your CV according the JD of the required post so that it justifies your position for the particular job.

Mention all the skills you have to the role you are trying to get. Change it every time if necessary.  You may have different skills for different job requirements and cannot get them all on one CV.  I disagree with the Bayt Department Office Administrator on this one

keep it as it is

If you are matching the job role then you should customize your resume as per the requirement, for example, being  an HR professional,i have been rotated to various functions and some time the post is like for HR Generalist and sometime as an specific role. I belive rather than mentioning all details and role, customization should be done.

On Bayt.com you can have one primary (or searchble) CV and4 other customized CVs. The searchable or Primary CV should be general. Whereas when you apply to a certain job you can use the customized CV or better still Bayt.com allows you to customize your cover letter for each job. I feel that the cover letter more than the Cv offers more opportunities for customization.

I feel you design your CV to a standard format that contains all the skill sets of your profession and your area of interest. This should not be eventually customised to every job. Thats better and safe.
