Need and wants these are two basic things under marketing. What is the difference between them?

When you WANT something, you Wish you can have it, but you can live without it. (maybe a car)

When you NEED something, you HAVE to have it, it's essential. And you can't live without it. (like daily food and water )

Need is the basic things we needs to survive like a shelter, food, water, security...etc 

want is derived with the lifestyle and the level of living like I want to eat Pizza Hut, I want to live in a villa 

marketing plays on the want of the human being to drive it to its product. 

wants are short lived and change all the time, like i want to eat,after you eat you have a new want,you want to....and keeps going.

needs however are long lived and harder to aquire.we need happiness and we spend life looking for it,we need security and spend long time trying to be safe, even if we have it we are still a fraid to loose it,we need love and same story work hard for it and when we have it, we don't move on like wants, we stay a fraid of loosing love so it is acontinous process ...
