What's the best method of teaching English in high schools?

The first thing to remember is make sure you sound like you are talkiing to just them in the classroom. Like a one on one type of connection. Even in a group look around as if you are talking to each one separately. Once you have the connection and their attention you can continue with note taking lessons and giving advice as needed in the classroom. Make sure they understand the assignments. Make sure to ask if they have questions. Make sure the students know you are there to teach them but also help them so that they will not fail in life. And most importantly let them know how important it is for careers that they need to learn English.
