A typical EA role is to be viewed from twin spectrum of adhering to: Operational & Strategic roles.

Operational Role- on day-day management.

Strategic Role- looking at the big picture emanation of VMVs-Vision-Mission Values of the company and taking it forward in a time horizon of 5-10 years.

The strategic imperative compelled by operational excellence is what differentiates between good and great companies.
