As a manager, how would you handle a situation where two of your top-performing employees have a personal conflict that is starting to affect their work performance and the team’s dynamics?

Handling conflicts between your star team members requires a thoughtful approach. Start by having one-on-one talks in a private and empathetic setting to grasp their viewpoints and find common ground. Stay neutral, ensuring fairness, and clarify their roles so there's no misunderstanding. If necessary, arrange a mediated conversation. Encourage them to focus on solutions rather than assigning blame. Together, set up action plans and offer continuous support. Think about organizing team-building activities to avoid future conflicts. Keep records of your efforts. The ultimate goal? A peaceful and productive team while resolving the current dispute.

As Management it will be at the discretion of the manager to resolve these issues in a civil manner.

A one on one meeting with either party should be conducted with the presence of Human Resources.

Listen to the employees concerns always being a custodian of the companies policy and procedures, guidelines and work ethic in your minds eye.  Once the manager has identified the challenges of both parties another meeting should be set between both employees in the presence of Human Resources.

Pose questions to either party on how would "you" have best handled the situation.  By exchanging both parties concerns and their answers the manager should then be the conduit in setting the record straight by explaining the companies values and highlighting that the company works as a "team"rather than an individual.  Get their buy in on the conflict resolve and monitor the way forward.  HR can be the cornerstone in holding departmental talks around the issues and conflict within the work place cementing working together for the good of the company.

In every conflicts, there is always one wrong, as a manager you have to find out who is wrong and the golden rule is to be fair and honest in deciding for a good decision. And making it releaised by both the employees that how to aviod future conflicts, never be at one side always be just. 

 

For this task, it is necessary to listen to both of them and determine how serious the problem is. It will be necessary to convince them that it is better to solve their sexual problems outside the boundaries of the work rather than within the boundaries of the work due to which the work is affected.
