Acknowledge their work. Most employees became less motivated because even if they work hard they were not recognize. Always check for any improvement and changes that caused good output to your company and then give them a reward so they know that they have been appreciated by the management.

as a team leader i always focus on human relationships first by having Team Building sessions or talking about non-work matters with the team members.

for instance, during pandamic when one team member was sick and coulnd not be working, I myself would fill in for him so they woulnd not be woried about work.

taking actions like that would bring loyalti and trust in to team and Trust me, that kind of bond in a team will boost the performance.
