What experience should i have to work as Quality control engineer?

As quality engineer u need a good Experience and skills  in monitoring ,testing and inspecting products , raw material to make sure they meet the required specified standards and quality. You also need a good experience in the field of documentation and to be wll aware of all the required standards and specification.

You should know about this item:

1. Project specification

2. Standards code to ref.

3. ITP

4. Procedure/Method statment

5. Testing/Inspection involved and report records datd sheet

6. Reading Dwg. and P&ID and 3D modle must be clear

7. The experience of work QA/QC must be have 

The most important experiences are to know good about international codes and specifications also you need to have good manegment skills and using computer programmes.

You should have Good Constrction Experience in your own  Displine like  civil, Mech, and Electrical etc. what ever your displine . you must have  storng knowladge about International Code Statndads and Specification of your releated displine Material. 

the 3rd things you have  knowledge about Project Documentation like checklist of related Job, ITP , MOS , Technical Quary, Shop Drawings, As Built Drawings, RFI. then you can work as Qaulity Control Engineer.

As per my experience of more than 20 years in plastic film manufacturing what I drived for qualitycontrol, you must be analytical, statical and optimistical for your conclusions.

Because Quality Control is the mother of Improvement and Disaster simultaneously, if you judge your opinion without collecting data and probablity method you will dig a black hole for entire process.

Any industry, as a Quality Control Engineer, the primary job is INSPECT, INSPECT and INSPECT, followed by mandatory activity of generating the Inspection Report agreed by the executioner.

Share the inspection form with QA dept. and Operaration to arrest the mistakes in the nect Operation and further sequence. 

Close loasion as obvious with QA dept. Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.

Control of non Conformance product/ service. Correct issue of NCR/CAR as applicable.
