What is the main difference between Engineering Management and Non-Engineering Management?

I believe that the main difference is the technological problems solving as in the other management types there are many other problems to solve.

The main purpose of the Engineering management is to apply engineering principles in leading a team of engineers to do there tasks through the project or in the technological operation of an organization.
