Is a Barista only to prepare customers order or they need to serve to the customers table as well?

Well its a barista is yo perpare the customers order but if required the barista is serve the customer to make sur the customer is comortabe and takes feed back for the order that has been served 

Barista do both.Preparing customers order and serving customers table as well,inorder to please the customers and intertain question/s that they possibly ask.

If not busy at the coffee shop,,can serve the table so that if a customer have any question about coffee you can be able to answer

if the caffee is not busy yes off course they need to serve to their customer if bg then they must apologize and respond with smile face to the customer about that they are pretty busy
