Of course, we are all shy or insecure in one point?! Maybe someone love to talk but he don't have much to say or he don't have communication skills...If you have all you need for PR but you are shy... you should just brake the ice, go out from your comfort zone... "I really believe that if you want something bad enough, and you work so hard to get it, and you have it inside, then if you just never stop, it's gonna happen." B

It's an interesting question, but a public relation representative as a matter of priority should be confident. At some point they would be tested on some very pertinent issues that would dent a company's image if handled from a coy perspective. This is where character evaluation during hiring becomes key.
