What is deference between 'Microsoft Word' and 'Microsoft Excel'?

Microsoft Words is used to creat documents, such as contracts, and letters.

Microsoft excel is used to creat statement and numerical explinations

Microsoft Word - is the word proccessing document creation and easily create a vareity of professional looking documents

Microsoft excel - is used for spreadsheet by using calculation, table, formulas, function, etc. by analyzing company data such as sales figure, sale taxes or commissions.

The diference is that word is a program for make texts and excel is for make tables

Word is a word processing application while Excel is a spreadsheet

       You usually use Word in writing letters or essays while Excel is

I guess the only Similarity between them is that both are products of MS. The uses of both are totally differenent as Word is used for documet pertaining to words while excel is more of like deals with digits and calculations.

i think z differnce b/n microsoft word and microsoft excel is its format coz word is uses blank page for working space but excel have row and column for working space.
