As a parent, how do you help your child to overcome being bullied at school?

when a child is being bullied at school, just do not scold them, infact take it in positive way by imposing responsibilities on them, like make them monitor of the class or group of childrens so that their bullieness may be utilized in positive way and they will learn wath is meant by responsibility and learn to be in desciplined manner.
