Why do we need to do oil analysis for oil immersed power transformers?

Regular testing and sampling of insulation Oil is very important in the maintenance progaram to prevent chance of failure of transformers. Oil analysis is a measure of ability of oil to withstand electrical stress without failure (Insulation), Oil with high   breakdown voltage is a good insulator.
