What is the forecast techniques methodology for short, intermediate and long-term?

Is that Revenue or Equipment forecast?

As for Equipement we are talking about Rolling Forecast on a minimum 3 months ahead significance.

As for Revenues, some companies do it Quarterly. And some have very thight Push Sales every week.
