As a Sales Person/Manager your endeavor should be to ensure priftibaility for the employer,you should be in knowledge of your stock movement summary and its distribution in the market . At the ouset ensure that sufficient demand is created for the product in order to prevent expiry.If the stock has come back from other place to Depo or CFA try to create a merchandising scheme for the near expiry stock  e.g.,with10 Pcs some gift item for retailer and for customer with3 pcs some gift item free But this all will depend upon the length of time in which it is going to expire and you have to have some demand for the product in market so that it is consumed well within that time otherwise you will have negative impact on the image of organisation
