Arduino is still not popular in Arab regions because many arabs lives in egypt etc in such countries where the language is not english. This is the main barrier of the language.
This is because the foundation of Arab countries are not their own technological advancement which is the very fundamental element is innovation. We can say they are after innovation but they are only taking it on a third party basis which is utilizing people capable of making it happen.
Cause maybe few arabs country still keeping developing in electronics field rather than others
arduino not popular in many contries as mush as PICs family becouse PICs are the fundamental , so integrated chips not come popular in arabic region
you can say language barrier but still many things from technology point of view exist in egypt. probably some country policy that restrains not all but some company policies which makes it difficult to have a share in the egyptian technology market. i don't have a definite answer.
Depends on the need as well as awareness. maybe the awareness is not there and also the requirements could be different there. Also they must be having their native products.
