The essential non technical skills a Field Service Engineer must have include a basic and logical understanding of how AC and DC current works and be a technical minded individual.  A Field Service Engineer must be a 'peoples person' and have a friendly nature. Have strong communication skills.

He must have analytical methods of eliminating strategies for troupleshooting problems.

A valid drivers licence, be reliable and know the necessary tools and equipment required to perform accordingly.

 

Creative, Ingenious, Analytical attitude, Logic, Attention to detail,

A field Service Engineer definitely must have Technical skills related to specific job but above all he must be humble , have patience because in field he faces different people with different attitudes. some people are nice but behave very rudely. So field service engineer should be matter solving person that can handle every situation in good manner.

Hardworking, positive, confident

Excellent Communication skills with end user.

A field service engineer must be patient at all times and a patient oriented person and have a good communication skills.

a field engineer must be knowledgeable the skill profession they choose. it should be be patient in everytime because a lot or diffirent personel you met in diffirent palces. and must willing to deploy anywhere.
