What is the difference between Draftsman and Draughtsman?

Both are nouns with same meanings . Only the difference is that draughtsman is used in UK English and draftsman is used in US English 

A Draftsman is a person who drafts legal documents whereas a Draughtsman is a person who makes detailed technical plans or drawings.
