yes , but there are more things you have to do it to satisfy the clinet like good customer service and do what you do so well that they will want to bring their friends.

The preparation and monittoring is very important. But this is no enough for the high customer satisfaction. The customers builds up their assessment on the quality of he product or service and the direct contact to the customer service. They don't care about planning and management. These areas are important for the company to provide excellent service or product to customers. 

The answer is yes, provided that the client is feeling the value of what you do while you do it, and feel the benefits of the outcomes you had. For the first part 'feeling the value', the answer is communication and stakeholder involvement, the second part 'benefits realisation' is through the quality of the output, and the overall benefits (financial, people, etc...) for this project.

My answer is yes but keep in mind these are not the only things to satisfy the client. There are many other things which should also be considered and given due weightage. Application of CRM systems are very important in this regard.

To deliver the project on time will satisfy the client.

 In low context countries in North America and North of Europe, Central Europe Baltic that should be enough.

But in high context countries like in South America, Latin Europe, MENA countries, Asia relations are more informal, people like to extend the professional relation to the personal field.

For Scope, ensure that all the requirements of the client are being met.

For Quality, it is absolutely important and necessary to gain acceptance of interim deliverables from the customer at frequent intervals during the project execution phase. This will prevent unpleasent surprises at the end of the project.

During project closure stage, ensure a formal final aceptance from the client and solicit his feedback.
