Is paperless work place, enough solution to eliminate credit card fraud?

The only way to be 100 percent safe from credit card fraud is to refuse all credit card transactions. Credit card fraud is a serious problem that affects all types of business and merchants of all sizes, costing them not only money but also precious time.

Is the current modern life we can not avoid credit cards, therefore, we have no other way other just to ensure or implement maximum vigilance and as well as we need to progress towards the paperless environment. further to protect from fraud, we can add thumb impressions as much as possible.

Speaking from personal experience, while working at an International Company it happened a few times. Not once was it due to a loose paper left around. 1. it happened once at a Hotel in Eastern Europe while a Team Member was on a business trip (a dishonest hotel clerk made a photo copy of the card) 2. It happened a few times through dishonest taxi drivers while someone was on a business trip (thankfully, most credit card companies refund the money, if reported as soon as you receive the credit card bill)

 

In a financial account, there are multiple guidelines that must be followed in order to avoid credit card fraud. Implementing paper-less environment is just one of them, the safest way is to follow what the Company mandates. There must be seminars being done about this in the Company where you can participate in or you can ask your immediate superior if you have more queries.
