What does Operational Excellence mean to you? Or, Why is Operational Excellence important to you?

Operational Excellence is an organization's culture where various principles and methodologies are in place in order to drive efficient operations. In other words, the organization's business processes are organized in such a way that all employees involved in those processes are able to understand the flows, follow the procedures, indicate improvement opportunities where applicable, monitor improvements, with the ultimate goal for the company to be more competitive in the industry.
