Yes,it possible to backup from network computers to local drive using with Windows Native BackUp in Windows server 2012. whereas you can backup network shared folders that the computer is access, such as a mapped network drive.

The data can be backed up on the server running Windows Server Essentials and it can restore files or folders or full system restore
