What happens when a customer asks for the warranty to be honoured on a product he or she has purchased? Are the same organisations as happy to help?

Yes, all reputed company honor their warranty conditions otherwise it  would be tantamount to breach of contract. 

In fact the company learns a lot about the product  and may revive their production strategy when they honor warranty conditions. It is just learning by mistake. 

Reputed Companies always honor their warranty conditions and they are happy to help as well for the reason as they don't want to lose their reputation in their respective sector. And also this conditions will help Companies to oblige their quality standards and satisfaction of the user. 

If warrantee has been awarded then there is no way out beside accepting the claims otherwise business can not be sustainable as well as brand will loose the acceptance.
