You have not mentioned whether it is stock of finished products or raw materials. If it is stock of finished products stocks would decrease with sale.If it is stock of raw materials more can be purchased from sale of finished stock. The main thing is the company should be at least making normal profits to make payments for all the factors of production. Like rent for land & building , electricity charges , wages for wokers and profit for the owner.
