Nowadays how Important is to keep at least one employee relation officer in a company of 500-10000 employees?

It all  depending upon the need basis, however, it will ease the company to handle employees day to day issues as well as create good impact on the company & employees relationships.

1 relations officer against over employees is absurd,suicidal, unfair & unrealistic. This may imply that either the company doesn't care about the employee welfare or it is so "mean" to employ more relations officers to handle the work. The company must put in place a relations department (internal & public relations) with a proportinate number of relations officers to handle employee relations & welfare.Thanx for the invitation

 It is very important even the company contains 100 to 150 since we are dealing  with people have feelings 

When saying How imprtant is it means we still feel it is an important issue at least . To answer this question we should get in considiration the type of business we are running , in other words we should be familiar with the organizational chart to know is it impoertant or not since this type can be under another classifying which means no need to have this position if it is emegrated with another department. So no proffissional company works without relation officer but it might be obviously under a name of RELATION OFFICER or it might be gathered with a department regarding to the structure of the company.

Is very important in case the company objective is to offer a healthy, productive and proper atmosphere. In case not, then it's adding cost with no Benifit.

Employee relation officer acts as an advisor on various issues and comes out with different solutions.Seeing today;s changing working hours,lifestyles and temperaments it is very important to have an employee relation officer just to maintain a safe and sound environment while dealing with personnel issues.
