There are indeed (as I am sure you know) many organisations that can help with funding, depending on your field, your research proposal, etc. A (perhaps) easier way of securing funding is to look for local charities. When I was applying for funding (in the United Kingdom), I googled "charities offering funding for master's degrees", and a whole list came up. Individually, they don't offer full funding (maybe AED 1000), but you aren't limited in how many you can apply for. Many of these charities aren't necessarily interested in your work per se, but rather that they can help you become more productive. They tend to help fund local individuals, so as long as you are from that area, they are likely to fund you. There was a story on one of the sites that an individual was able to do this and secure £50,000 (around AED 200,000), which fully funded his studies; so it is possible. Good luck!
