What is the difference between cad and cam?

CAM, computer-aided manufacturing, is the use of computer software and machinery to manufacture three-dimensional objects

CAD is Computer-Aided Design, it is the part of the process when you draw your product on a computer software like in our case a PCB on EAGLE for example.

CAM is Computer-Aided Manufacturing, it is the part of the process where you manufacture your cad drawing using a computerized machined like in our case a PCB drawn on Eagle and manufactured on a milling CNC machine

cad is computer aided design it is used in creating digital representation of 2d and 3d  (blue prints ) for the project at hand  like a building or  a structure, cam is computer aided manufacturing were it produces in mass the components  needed .
