Do graphic designers need to have the ability to draw?

Ability to draw is an edit advantage for the graphic designers to express their ideas and conceptualise their vision, but it's not necessary to know the drawing to be the graphic designer. To be a designer you just need to be creative and knowledge of designing and using the tools appropriately.

No it is not a necessity but it is a preferable skill to be in a graphic designer.
