Being a Construction Supervisor, Where you will rely most in solving problems in the project? by past experience or by knowing well the technical?

Depends on the problem. Usually a good combination of experiance and tecnical is the answer. The percentange varies according to the problem issued.

Project management is basically "standardized common sense" and you should approach it that way.

Previous experience will keep you on the safe side, but new technical solutions are adopted every day, so don't discard it before trying it! And in the end, it will all come down to common sense.

It is a combination of past experiences and technical knowledge to solve the problem in the site including annalysys.

according to the problem I would rely most by  both my  good knowing of the technical and my previous experience also  by my capacity of reaction and to keep advice from other poeple. 

 I rely most by my past experience especially most problem that being encounter in a construction are familiar, and we learned alot from our mistake and by our past experience.

Combining the past experience and knowing the technicality of the problem can help understand and solve the construction problems in the project. Likewise, consider the pro-active criticism from peers and other knowledgeable persons and finally your Engineering decision.

While working with constructing company I was tasked with supervising a  construction project that pulled from various departments across the company -- engineering, design, quality assurance, etc. Each of the team members brought to the table a unique set of skills and abilities. However, the same diversity of skills required to complete the project also brought with it a variety of personalities and work styles. Even though each team member was prepped by their department prior to joining the team, I held a special team meeting -- actually more like a team social -- prior to starting the project to provide an opportunity for each team member to get to know one another on a personal level. In fact, we rented a cabin up in Tahoe and spent the weekend just having fun together and interacting in a non-work environment. During the retreat, I arranged a number of team building activities that required each team member to rely on the other team members as they worked toward accomplishing a mutual objective.
