Decision Making or Taking a decision requires a strong will as the very idea or suggestion that you act upon needs an overall confirmation from those involved directly with the outcome. There is also a time bound decision making which gives you an upper hand while being the first in command. Information on the other hand, or mastering the information would give one the intellect  to take the appropriate suitable decisions..

Decision making is vital for the success of the strategy and planning of a company's operations. In order for the decision making process to be based on data and facts, the collection and mastery of information is extremely important. A decision based on insufficient data is a risky one and likely to turn out to be a failure.

In any case the more valuable information a decision is based on, the more diminished is the risk this decision comes with.

I hope I was helpful.
