Can we use elastomeric rubber closed cell insulation for chilled water pipes? If yes what's the criteria and method statement and if No then why NO?

yes we can use closed cell elastomeric rubber insulation regarded it should be with aluminium foil covered which is available in market the method statement is same as foam insulation.
