What you wear to interview does not depend on you but the person you are interviewing with. If interviewed by a creative person, you might get away with creative / casual outfit. If you don't know who you will be meeting, play it safe, less casual, more neat.

Of Course! Design is about art, and artists have the capability of expressing!

Bottom line, dress like you feel, if you are a casual person,,,,,, dress casual. it will best describe who you really are.

What you must wear to an interview depends more on the company and it's industry than on the nature of job these days. One thing that has definitely been changing is that I see lesser and lesser people wearing full business formals in interviews. I believe whatever you choose to wear - it must be something that makes you look professional and is comfortable to be in.

Going in an interview, proper dressing must be considered. As an applicant in a position of Graphics Designer, wearing an Executive Attire will do. An applicant must put in mind to impress his/her employer, not just in an interview, but even in his/her way of dressing. Remember that, what you wear, reflects you personality.

In some jobs there is an output which can talks about the person. Simply a graphic designer should carry his art work in an interview. I f I am an interviewer of a graphic designer I will concentrate more on his art work that is it.

An interview is an interview whether it is an interview for the position of Graphic Designer or CEO , you are not aware of the company culture. Therefore it is safer to go in a professional , formal outfit rather than a stand out causal attire. When you get the job and develop an understanding of the company culture and their policies you can always amend your approach.
