We will start with a software that can either be used alone or with other ones. Adobe Illustrator is one of the most versatile tools you can find, 

you can use autocad or ap 100 from amada is the best software 

Which material are you cutting on laser machine. If you cutting non-metallic corel draw is best software   smart draw is also use. But for Metallic you can use MOST 2D ,AP 100 Meta lix are widely use. But i recommend you MOST 2D as best software 

i use Auto CAD to drawing 2D works after i use trutops for laser cutting works and Fastcam for Oxy or plasma cutting and DLCF for models 

In my case, I use illustrator or AutoCAD to drawing 2D works. 

After, I use Estelcam if is it a simple job or Artcam if is complex : you can take a look at the website : www.estlcam.com or artcam.com

it's fully free and simple to use to generate your G-code. 

To do the job, I use Mach3 : link to website, on my CNC Premium St it's a Tunisian-made check the constructor website : www.cnc.tn
