What are functional responsibilities of Finance Manager?

Role and resposbility vary from copmany to company / industry to industry plus the structure of the organisation (divisionalized structure /  decentralised etc)

However his role will include, Decision making / Working Capital Management, Debt Management, Internal Control, Management reporting etc. 

Duties of a financial manager vary company to company. In a large enterprise there might have some body on top of him. In that case he will follow instructions. In other words his duty in general making or prepare financial reports, direct investment activities. Implement cash management activities technique. If Finance manager is in command post he or she will attend all policy level meeting. In a simple answer, role of Finance Manager varies organization to organization.
