Are there different types of accreditation?

Institutional  which reviews educational institutions and programmatic which reviews specific programs within institutions

Accreditation will always have the same one definition, but we can put accreditation in categories in reference to the type of the conformity assessment body as follows: Testing Laboratories, Calibration laboratories, Medical labs, certification bodies, inspection bodies, personnel accreditation... etc.
