What are the differences between management and strategic management?

Strategic Management charts an organisation's course towards achieving its longterm objectives, by identifying the resources and course of action required to accomplish that end.

Strategic management is the long term plan the company make to reach certain goals but management the processes and style in order to make sure the tasks and duties are done correctly

Management as such is nothing just an idle thing to do. But by doing repeatedly may give u a little help to understand management. But strategic management is done by professional people. They know the value of risk that's why they follow a respective and planned strategy to maintain the risk.Although it has also risk in it but it give u inner peace that u've worked for ur project.

The management is based on four functions:

1- development includes the development of products and markets, it is to adapt to the needs and essential to all business activities,

2- Marketing: is to create demand, it includes the sale (commamces obtaining)

3- Production

4- administration

Management is also:

- Structuring the process of decision making

- Predicting the group's performance and identify potential problems

- Delegate responsibilities

- Define the tasks

- Develop performance indicators and evaluate results

- Organize meetings and make the most

Strategic Management "organized knowledge and applied art in favor of an organization, strategic management is to mobilize, to combine and to commit resources for purposes of efficiency and reduction of uncertainty".

The strategic Management : considering the org. resources in order to achieve its goals & Objectives  ,,, analyzing the competitive environment ,,, analyzing internal org,evaluating strategies  & insuring that the strategies are applied in the organization  .

while the Management is   . managing the organization with a fact  or actual of available resources & conditions .
