What is the risk for a client to appoint a FM company to maintain his facilities using (Fully comprehensive preventive maintenance contract)?

It depends to existing vulnerabilities of client's business. If there are some, it has to be precise cleared in order to prevent risks. Client has to prepare clear demands and expetations from FM company, with all restrictions.

There is always an element of risk when outsourcing support services. This is especially prevalent in customer facing environments such as FM. The standards expected from a client may differ to a supplier and this does sometimes cause friction. However dialogue between client and supplier is the key to ironing out any difficulties and creating a mutually beneficial arrangement.
