Why it is recommended to implement LOV from Read only view than that from view based on entity?

Read-only Vo Objects are Query-based, used for only reading data so they access data quickly, whereas Vo is based on Eo which can do insertion,updation and deletion in the database.

Read only LOV will prevent  Editing, deleting & Adding, moreover it allow quick accessing &  loading into the end user Interface screen
